Absolutely not.  Our CBD is derived only from 100% US grown Hemp.  Unlike THC – or Tetrahydrocannabinol, known by most as the common cause for the “high” you fell when consuming cannabis products – CBD does not have any pyschoactive properties.  In fact, CBD – or Cannabidiol – works to counteract the psychoactive effects when taken in conjunction with THC.  This means you get all the benefits of the cannabinoids without any of the negative, psychoactive feelings associated with cannabis consumption.

*Important Note: Hemp & Hemp-derived products with <0.3% THC content were Federally legalized in the United States with the Farm Bill (December 2018).

No need to worry about trippin’! CBD is non-psychoactive. Cannabis, also commonly known as marijuana or hemp, comprises of over 80 compounds, one being CBD and another major active ingredient being THC. THC, also known as tetrahydrocannabinol is the chemical responsible for most of marijuana’s psychological effects. CBD and THC are two different compounds with different effects.

How Much CBD should I take?

CBD is a very unique supplement, in that it can affect people very differently.  Cannabidiol (CBD) interacts with your Endocannabinoid System (ECS), and like its fellow cannabinoid THC, its effects depend on the user’s metabolism, tolerance, age and many other factors.  Health is primarily an individual matter, and the same is true for each person’s ability to absorb and process CBD.

As with many supplements or medications, it is always best to start with a minimal dose and work your way towards the optimal balance for you.  Whether you are trying CBD for the first time to alleviate soreness, or if you’re a professional athlete seeking to take your fitness to the next level, CBD can be taken under the tongue, applied topically to the area of need, ingested in food/drink or conveniently in capsule form.

As always, read instructions carefully and start with the minimum recommended dose, increase as needed every few hours, daily or weekly.

what method of cbd is best for me?

The chosen method of using CBD depends on your preference. No matter how you take CBD the healing properties of CBD does not change. However, longevity, activation time, and potency can range for the different methods of application.

Body Capsules like many health & fitness supplements, capsules are a favorite for active individuals.  Easy to dose, convenient to take, and a consistent potency make CBD capsules the top choice for many bodybuilders, marathon runners, cyclists, athletes and sports professionals.  Capsules usually range in potency from 500 – 3000 mg of CBD per bottle, but regardless of the concentration, you can be sure of each capsule’s efficacy. Cannabidiol capsules are considered by many to be the fastest, most efficient way to experience the benefits of CBD. Buy our body capsules here

Pre-Workout – best to alleviate pain and muscle inflammation that may come before or during your workout.

Post-Workout – best to alleviate pain and muscle inflammation that may come after your workout.

CBD Power Drops – fast-acting and long-lasting effects when applied through ingestion. Topically, is equally as effective for almost immediate relief. However, oils applied topically do also last the shortest duration. CBD oil targets the endocannabinoid system, which can be found in your nervous system, digestive system, in your brain, and your entire body. When your endocannabinoid system is not balanced, you suffer from things like stress, depression, hypertension, fatigue, migraines, chronic pain, and more. The main aim of CBD oil is to restore this balance. Buy our CBD Power Drops here.

Power Freeze CBD Roll-Ona great way to experience fast, effective relief from pain or stress.  Many professional athletes and sports enthusiasts use CBD roll-on applicators when muscle cramps strike, or rub a soothing CBD cream on their sore muscles between breaks.  If there is any downside to topical CBD, it is the length of time that the relief effects last. CBD, when absorbed through the skin, can immediately provide relief but will not last more than an hour or so.  So, for individuals seeking remedies for pain, inflammation or stressed parts of the body, CBD topicals provide on-demand, soothing relief. What is the recommended dosage of CBD?

Start low and start slow. Although you can not overdose from CBD, its best to see what dose suits you for the desired effect in order to get more use out of your product. Everyone is different, people may react to dosages with more or less intensity than another. However, some factors to consider include weight, CBD tolerance, the condition that you’re treating, body chemistry, especially if you’re taking other medications as well. The good news is that CBD is a natural medicine that is safe.

If CBD is new to you, it is always a good idea to start off with smaller doses and work your way up to the dose that best suits you. A good dose to start off with could be around 1-5mg and that will give you a feel for where to go from there. Other users may find that a dose from 10 to 20 mg taken 1-2 times daily should be enough to provide you with an efficient effect.

Ultimately, we suggest finding the dose that works for you to get the most out of your supply.

Is there any negative side effects of CBD?

CBD is a non-addictive substance with no negative side effects. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding we recommend staying on the safe side and avoiding CBD use. We also do not suggest CBD to children under the age of 2.
